Bio Stuff

Music was always in the house when I was growing up, my mom singing, my dad's Telefunken hi-fi playing big band music and later my older sister's radio. Then came The Beatles,  my first drum kit and band and falling asleep with an LP stack of Hendrix, Sgt Pepper's, Cream and others playing on my bedroom stereo.

I got hooked on being in the recording studio, the creative process, the equipment and technical aspects in the analog days. As recording equipment became more affordable, I began acquiring better gear and recording bands. In 2012 I received my certification in Studio Production from The Berklee College of Music.  As a recording, mixing and mastering engineer I have worked with artists creating an award winning cd and music that has been reviewed in Rolling Stone magazine.

I have been a sometimes songwriter for years but began working on creating new songs for a solo CD project. It has been completed and will be released the fall of 2019 under the title

The Cowboy's Buddha. The 6 self written and 1 song written by Brent Kinder are varied in style and sounds. The project was recorded and mixed here at Roll Away The Stone Studios and mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London. It features the talents of several musician friends and current bandmates in Broken Arrows, Bill Ryan and John Chevalier.
